DVRPC wants to understand freight needs and issues in your community.

This map allows you to share observations about how trucks, trains, and other freight activities affect transportation, businesses, and daily life in Greater Philadelphia. Your input will help DVRPC identify locations where the goods movement system works well and areas where safety, congestion, access, or community impacts may need attention. Use this mapping tool to identify locations where there are freight-related issues.

1. To begin, click the “Submit a Comment” button (bottom left of map).
2. Click the map to add a point where your freight-related comment is located.
3. Select the appropriate category for your comment from the following:
   • 
     Safety Concerns: Locations where freight movement creates safety issues for drivers, pedestrians, or cyclists.
   • 
     Congestion or Delay: Locations where traffic tends to slow, queue, or feel unreliable due to freight movement.
   • 
     Quality of Life (Noise, Air, or Other Impacts): Locations where freight activity affects neighborhood livability or environmental conditions.
   • 
     Truck Access, Routing, or Parking Issues: Locations with challenges related to truck routes, wayfinding, loading zones, staging, or overnight parking.
   • 
     Development or Land Use Concerns: Feedback related to warehouse development, industrial land use, vehicle/workforce access, and community compatibility.
   • 
     Freight as a Good Neighbor: Feedback related to places, designs, or practices that support reliable goods movement and positive community outcomes.
   • 
     Other: Please use this category to share other feedback on specific locations or freight-related issues in the region.
