Preparing for the Potential Return of Passenger Rail

DVRPC is helping Pottstown and its planning partners prepare for the potential return of passenger rail service by studying local conditions and exploring strategies designed to make the Charles W. Dickinson Transportation Center, the location where trains would stop, more accessible to all users.


You can help us by using this mapping tool to identify locations where improvements could make walking, biking, taking transit, or driving safer or more convenient.

  1. To begin, click the “Submit a Comment” button (bottom left of map).
  2. Click the map to add a point where your transportation comment is located.
  3. Select the appropriate category for your comment from the following:
    • list iconBiking: Locations where biking is stressful or unsafe due to roadway conditions or the lack of bicycle infrastructure.
    • list iconWalking: Locations where challenging intersections, sidewalk conditions, driver behavior, or other factors make walking difficult or uncomfortable.
    • list iconTaking Transit: Locations where improvements to existing PART or SEPTA bus service or stops would enhance your transit experience.
    • list iconDriving: Locations where roadway conditions, driver behavior, or parking considerations make driving challenging or unpleasant.
    • list iconOther: Please use this category to share other feedback on specific locations in the station area.
  4. Add your comment and click the “Submit” button to share your feedback with the project team.
